Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans le bien de Gilles : nous vous le recommandons grandement et vivement! L’appartement est spacieux, et décoré avec soin (pas de surprise entre les photos, la réalité et la description). Disposant d’un climatiseur chaud/froid, il offre également tout le confort souhaité dans les différentes pièces : – Salle de bain : douche spacieuse, chauffe-serviette, sèche-cheveux, serviettes (du gel douche est même mis à disposition pour ceux qui auraient fait leur sac un peu rapidement) – Cuisine : bouilloire, machine à capsules, micro-onde, set complet de vaisselle et couverts, lave-vaisselle (et même une machine à laver/sécher pour ceux qui souhaiteraient voyager léger avec peu d’affaires). Et bien d’autres! – Chambre : quelques coussins et couvertures supplémentaires. Sans compter les petites « attentions » : mise à disposition de livrets d’accueil (mode d’emploi des différentes machines, adresses de restaurants etc), parapluies, de sacs de courses, d’un coffre-fort notamment. Au-delà de ce confort proposé, le bien est d’une très grande propreté, ce qui est extrêmement appréciable. L’appartement de Gilles est d’un emplacement idéal pour visiter, découvrir, se promener, flâner dans Nice. Enfin (le meilleur pour la fin) : Gilles est très accueillant, disponible et réactif. Alors n’hésiter pas à réserver ce bien pour votre séjour! « We stayed 3 nights in Gilles’ property: we highly and highly recommend it! The apartment is spacious and decorated with care (no surprises between the photos, the reality and the description). With a hot/cold air conditioner, it also offers all the desired comfort in the different rooms: – Bathroom: spacious shower, towel heater, hair dryer, towels (shower gel is even available for those who have packed their bags a little quickly) – Kitchen: kettle, capsule machine, microwave, complete set of crockery and cutlery, dishwasher (and even a washing/drying machine for those who wish to travel light with few belongings). And many others! – Bedroom: some extra cushions and blankets. Not to mention the little « attentions »: provision of welcome booklets (instructions for the various machines, restaurant addresses, etc.), umbrellas, shopping bags, a safe in particular. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Boulangerie sind direkt um die Ecke, die Innenstadt ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Zum Strand sind es etwa 10 Gehminuten. Das Schlafzimmer ist nicht zur Straße ausgerichtet, daher sehr ruhig und kein Lärm. Gilles’s apartment is a located in a very good location. 8 min walk from the Airport Tram, 5min walk to the beach/promenade, loads of interesting places to see around there and nice restaurants/bakeries. The spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable apartment is centrally located. The owners have thought of every little detail in order to make your stay feel like you’re at home. If shopping is your priority, then there are tons of options all around the apartment, with a 10-15 minute walk. Well what can I say. This is a fabulous apartment. Gilles is the best host and his communication is number one. He met us as soon as we stepped out of the taxi and showed us the apartment and everything how it works. He left treats and went thru all the tourist information, restaurants and answered our questions when we checked in. The apartment was absolutely spotless. Not a thing out of place. The bed and pillows are so comfortable and there is everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. We were very happy;to use the washing machine after not having access to a machine four a week or so. Gilles left everything for us. We really didn’t need to supply anything. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment. The location is the best so close to everything. We walked everywhere without a problem. It is a lovely apartment in the center of Nice, ideally located at short walking distance from the beach, train station, Place Masséna, shops, old town. He was kind enough to meet me in person when I arrived at 9pm to go through the details of the apartment and even explain about the neighborhood, which he had also compiled into neat clear files so I had something to look at in case I had forgotten the information. A very clean apartment, with quality fittings, which is centrally located. The kitchen is fully equipped with good quality cookware and cutlery. The shower is excellent. Basic ingredients and eco friendly cleaning products are stocked up, so you don’t have to do a big shop at the supermarket on the first day except for milk perhaps. What I loved about the apartment was everything is intuitively placed be it in the kitchen , bedroom or the broom cupboard… There were even yoga mats … There is a daily food and flower market in Cours Selaya where you could buy fresh ingredients (vegetables, bread, cheese etc )and cook at the apartment if you are so inclined. There are a few supermarkets close by as well. The sea is just a short walk away. The hosts, both Gilles and his wife are lovely. It was truly a pleasure meeting the “Le10” host Gilles. And it is certainly a pleasure to say how wonderful our stay in his apartment was. It turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website. The property is close to everything in Nice, from where we explored Monaco, Canes, Eze, San Remo, St. Paul de Vence and many other places in the beautiful French Riviera. The apartment could not be better located and Gilles’ suggestions both in person and in the binders in the apartment provided a very comprehensive insider’s view of the city. The property is very comfortable and well designed, the kitchen perfectly equipped with brand-new appliances. The spacious bedroom has a very comfortable bed and pillows and the closet is superb. The attention to details is fantastic, from the various chargers to the Bluetooth connection to the audio system everything is meticulously arranged. The TV and cable box are great and have tons of channels and Netflix. Internet is super fast and very reliable. The A/C and heating are perfect. Very silent and efficient getting the temperature you need in minutes. All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. The bathroom is beautiful from the shower to the towel heater everything we needed was there. The building is well-maintained and quiet. This certainly ranked as one of our best experiences renting apartments. Our host provided a warm welcome and check-in was a great experience. We tried very hard to find something to suggest our host for improvement for future guests and we came out with nothing: it seems like Gilles thought of absolutely everything! The location is also fantastic. Very close to the old city and to some must-see landmarks like Place Masséna, Promenade des Anglais, Garibaldi square, etc., but with the added advantage that it is located in a quiet area so one can sleep peacefully. The same can be said for the more practical aspects of one’s stay: grocery store and bakery barely 2 minutes from the apartment. We were charmed by the city of Nice and by our host! We recommend! Le-10 can’t be beaten. It is in a perfect location about 2 blocks from Place Massena and 3 from the Old City. We walked everywhere. If you need public transportation, bus and tram stops are as close as half a block away. We bused in from the airport and Gilles met us at the bus stop only a half block from Le-10. Gilles is friendly and helpful and his English is excellent. The apartment is furnished tastefully in a simple, contemporary style which is to our liking. It was especially nice to have both a washer and drier…we used them repeatedly. One small machine performs both functions and the drying cycle is long if you want your clothes to come out fully dry…allow about 2 hours to complete the combined wash/dry cycle. The rain shower shower head was a favorite feature of ours. To stand under it for a long time was the perfect ending to long days of walking the city. We fell in love with the small restaurant across the street, Le Bocal which is run by 2 brothers. They are open only from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The menu changes daily and the ingredients are as fresh as can be. We didn’t try Le Bocal until near the end of our visit, but once we did, we ate there each day until we went home. There are plenty of other places to eat and drink within easy walking distance of Le-10. If spirits and a rock and roll atmosphere, try Wayne’s Bar in the Old City (frequent live music shows). Gilles was a great host. He is anxious to please and did so. As mentioned, he greeted us at the bus stop and gave us a thorough orientation to Le-10. He also provides a comprehensive written guide to everything from operating all the appliances to transportation to local restaurants and more…very impressive. L’appartamento è davvero bello, tutto nuovissimo e molto pulito. La posizione è fantastica, in pieno centro, vicino a piazza Massena, ma il contesto è tranquillo. La casa è ben accessoriata, non manca nulla. In cucina trovi tutti gli attrezzi per cucinare come fossi a casa tua, ed elettrodomestici quali la Nespresso, la macchinetta per il caffè americano, il tosta pane, il bollitore… A mio avviso la casa ha un unico neo, trovandosi a piano terra in un interno non ha vista. Però questo aspetto è ripagato dal fatto di essere in un contesto super tranquillo e silenzioso in pieno centro. Gilles è un host eccellente, è stato perfetto nella comunicazione prima e durante il soggiorno, ci ha accolto in maniera molto carina facendoci trovare in casa alcuni addobbi natalizi e procurandoci un seggiolone e un lettino da campeggio per la nostra bimba. This was our favourite Air Bnb on our trip through France! The place was better than we anticipated. The Old Town, Place Massena, the park, and the sea are within a few minutes walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay in Nice and the only thing that we regretted was that we couldn’t stay longer. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and unreservedly recommend this apartment. The owner (Gilles) proactively contacted me in advance, checked on my requirements and provided lots of useful information – including access to the apartment’s own website where all the information a guest could require is provided The best things about this apartment are: LOCATION – easily reached from the airport – I took the local bus recommended by Gilles which took me very close to the apartment. Ideally situated – very close to the main shopping area, old town, restaurants and bars. Also very well located for local buses, the railway station and the tram system. QUALITY – everything in the apartment is high-quality and brand-new. SUPPORT PROVIDED BY THE OWNER – Gilles answered all my questions and followed up with more information by text. On my departure date, he met me at the apartment at the time that suited me and made sure I knew how to get back to the airport. Chris K. – 2016

Gilles was a great host and very helpful in terms comms before arrival, accommodating late check-in, talking us through everything in the apartment, restaurant and general advice and last but not least picking us up from the airport. The apartment itself is superb. It’s newly renovated to an amazing standard and has everything you could wish for from incl. air conditioning to super fast wifi, a nespresso machine and even a phone you can use for free to call any French numbers. Most importantly it is extremely quiet despite being a very sort walk from all main attractions and restaurants in the old town, which more than makes up for the lack of view as the apartment is on the ground floor (however at the back of the building so again extremely quiet and nicely tucked away). Gilles place gets 10 stars if possible. From communication before, during and after the stay to the cleanliness of the place, everything was perfect. His apartment is in the best location with everything walking distance, yet it’s quiet. Apartment itself is well equipped with all the modern gadgets. He even had extra converters for our phones. Gilles’s attentiveness, responsiveness and respect for his guests is very clear. He has gone out of his way to think of every detail to make the apartment clean, comfortable, practical, and with every necessary amenity and instruction to make a visitor in Nice feel welcome. He was always immediately responsive and available by email or text, punctual to greet us and see us out, and helpful to resolve any issues or point us in the right direction in Nice. The apartment is very well maintained, with modern amenities and very functional. The location is also very good, not being in the noisy part of the historic center, yet close enough to walk. The owner put in a lot of love in this newly renovated apartment. Well planned out with an easy access and to top everything off it was really central. Shampoo, detergent, washing tablets and spices in the kitchen were provided. EXTRAORDINAIRE !!! Appartement super fonctionnel, très bien équipé avec gout et ultra propre. Parfaitement situé (à un bloc de la place Masséna) tout en étant au calme et loin du tumulte bruyant du vieux Nice (à peine 3 mn à pied) et en plus au rez de chaussée (pas d’ascenseur à attendre, pas de valise à porter !). We made a last minute reservation and Gilles was very quick to respond and answered all of our questions. The apartment is close to plaza Massena, in an area of town that feels residential and not as touristy. It was close to the beach and to restaurants. The apartment is in a residential building on the ground floor. Inside the apartment is really nice and has all the amenities. I was impressed how clean it was! It doesn’t have a balcony which would have been nice. But other than this the apartment was great. Unfortunately we had the apartment during Bastille Day and witnessed what happened. It was terrible.
